Why Is the Democrats Against Hardening the Schools?

Ames: We clearly have a culture problem. It isn't a gun problem. It's a problem with parents that don't parent their fucking kids, ok? And these kids find their way into these extremest areas of the inter net and they get indoctrinated into thinking that they're doing some sort of heroic shit. So my question to the average, common sense american listening to this right now is, why are these people against hardening the schools?
