The Evolution of Language

Languages are highly ordered, highly structured and respond to outside forces. Language does not stand still just over a couple of hundred years. It changes. We know that when we try to read some shakespeare and we don't know what the hell he's talking about. And yet, think of how much the english language has evolved over the last 500 years. So this is where life gets really interesting, start to analyze these systems and get a sense of how they work.
