Atlin i was one of the first companies to use big data as a business tool. The company is now valued at more than $1 billion, and has been around for 20 years. In its early days, Atlin i hired people who were ill-prepared or didn't know how to work with large amounts of data. Now they're able to manage that huge amount of data without losing focus on what's really important.
It's easy to get sucked into the "technology" side of things when it comes to improving the effectiveness and scaling up data teams, but, much to Tim's dismay, shoring up the people, process, and culture is often just as (if not more) critical. So, sure, we can talk about the modern data stack, but what about the modern data CULTURE stack?
