The painted table is a link of course to Targaryen history. It's an embodiment of this burden that Renira has inherited with the prophecy. The idea that it's dragon glass with carvings into it that are illuminated as the fire lights up from below is a brilliant idea. Summerhall specifically, I have to wonder if that's just like a little nod to like Summerhall disaster. That is related to trying to make dragons work for you.
