Avi Senan is seen as modifying and taking forward the Parapatic project. A lot of later Islamic philosophy, basically after the 14th, 15th century in particular, is concerned with trying to respond to these theological attacks. The Kalam tradition becomes far more sophisticated but also more important in the study that you have in seminaries. There's still a sense in which Kalam, just as Falsarva, is considered to be a lesser type of inquiry than Hekma.
