The Importance of Community Violence Inhibition Programs

Congress has one thing that they can do or start two things. They can pay money to say there's a new rule enforce the rule. And in that same vein, you know, if you're talking about the kind of violence that actually drives the majority of murders in the U.S., we have something like violence interruption programs. These are not instant fixes. It's not going to bring the murder rate down by 50% next year. Those sorts of policies just aren't likely to happen anytime soon.
