The End of an Empire

I think we are coming to the end of that mindset, that empire expansion, that American empire. I don't think that's a bad thing for America. It allows us to focus on what we've ignored for some time. We've been so focused on expansion of our values that we haven't looked as deeply as we need to with our own people. Are they happy? Are they healthy? Do they have free agency autonomy?
