Every single thing I write at the moment, I start with the very first question is what problem am I solving and who's problem in myself? And a lot of times, beginner or aspiring writers think about writing as a me exercise. So it takes a really long time to unhook yourself out of that and operate from a place of who do I want to reach? What are their wants, needs, hopes, dreams and aspirations? What are they struggling with? What questions do they have? You are in service of the reader. The reader is not in service of you.
