Are We Getting at These Culturally Critical Things?

Early feminists saw abortion as very indicative of oppression of women. Women being respected and b es and the way they act sexually, being respected within marriage, outside of mariage. The thing is that abortion has not strengthened that. We've only seen it diminish - so i think obviously those cultural things have got to be addressed. But then you ask too, about kind of the economic side, right? The policy side. In te low income community, they prefer policies that allow them access to money, where they can make decisions for themselves. It's very interesting that a study was just done looking at how much money is spent on different age groups and children; budget for children is like 12%.
