The conflict in ukrane has really concentrated minds on the state and purpose of nato. There's been a real sense among so many nato member states that they don't really need this thing any more, says John Defterios. And i think that the actions of president putin will perhaps lead to a bit of ival of nato,. It's a crit out of cross roads now, and it needs to rediscover a sense of purposeand maybe this is exactly what the organization needs.
