Reading Aloud to Children
The older kids, the really good readers like to be read to. They actually like it. It's beautiful to know. And I just think that's a lovely thing as well to do, to read to or to read to soothe. We need that in the language area of the brain and helps to expand children's attention spans,. encourage sequential thinking, and cause effect and significance.
