The Happiness Stumbling Block
Do not do something for the first time when the stakes are high. When there's some kind of new procedure like that, you don't know how you'll react. A friend who never got facials and on the day before her wedding, she was like, oh, I want to look beautiful for my wedding, I'll get a facial. She didn't realize until it was too late that often facials make you look worse before they make you look better because you get so blotchy.
