Is There Money in the Star Trek Universe?
In the Star Trek universe, as we mostly see it, you can get pretty much any object you want from a machine called a replicator. So that feels like a world with no use for money. And yet when you go to alien worlds, that is non-human worlds, you do see poverty. Maybe there is money? It's not completely clear. We are told, aren't we? Because I think Star Trek's ideas, Hose Antonio, shift around this, don't they?
