Drupal as a Traffic Cop
I often feel that the term monolith is like thrown around, right? And really in my head, I find that I just translate it to like bad architecture. Sometimes it feels like a little bit of a land grab to me where like a monolith was built so that a team or a company could retain control over every aspect of a system and platform. As opposed to saying we can use Drupal as a traffic cop to integrate with different systems and let those systems do what they do best. It's very flexible, modular, modern architecture,. And it scales great... The website of the Olympics runs on Davos. So it's just two different ways of doing things.
