Foucot's Love of Criminals

Foucot thinks we love criminals so much because they show us exactly what we are. We live our lives trapped in a cell inside of a penopticon, or a ponopticon inside another penopticon. The goal of the operation is not some higher virtue like justice, but instead to reform prisoners into subjects that are useful for keeping society going.
