On the show today is Kieran Flanagan. Kieran is the SVP of Marketing at HubSpot where he's building out a new media initiative within the company.

I wanted to bring him on because Kieran was at the forefront of putting together the acquisition of The Hustle by HubSpot. They also just launched a podcast network and are heavily investing into YouTube. Kieran is one of the smartest marketing leaders I know and it's fun to watch them innovate at HubSpot.

You'll hear about how and why they spent tens of millions of dollars acquiring a media company, his go-to playbook for expanding internationally, and how their marketing has evolved as the product evolved from just a marketing automation tool to a full suite CRM for marketing, sales, support, and operations.
