Is There a State of Consistency?

When you were working on the frequent dinor programme, one of the biggest issues was that it couldn't be consistent. You wanted to make sure things didn't change - so why not just have immutable records? That's how we ended up with a system where every transaction is exactly the same. And then that the frequent Dinor programme was much more successful because of that.
