We often only expose ourselves to a very specific kind of person where we think we ctably, reliably have chemistry. We're almost afraid to explore the chemistry with people that fall outside of that. It could be because we've convinced ourselves that there's a certain kind of person we're supposed to be with. And then we make ourselv es incredibly unhappy with something that down the line isn't actually going to matter to you.
