The Importance of Indexes in the Futures Markets
Paul: You can only really make returns in commodity indexes if you call a a super cycle correctly. If there's an overall right structural shift up in prices and you're not you are not, he says. He adds that the ultimate proof is in the pudding as we've had ETFs on the major commodity indexes since 2007 2008 but they have lost money through this huge bull run of commodity futures prices. Paul also talks about his new book which will be published by cabi later this month.
