The Battle of Milan

After an inconclusive archery duel, about 2,000 cavalrymen from my own town of Milan charged. The English normally handled this kind of situation by unleashing a narrow storm on the advancing cavalry. But they found out to their horrors that their arrows couldn't pierce the superior armor of the Milanese mercenaries. Balencaster described Milanese mercenaries as a wall of muscle and bone encased in steel.
