The Importance of Forced Labour in the Civil War
forced labour was significant during the Civil War. It became absolutely integral to sort of post-Civil War reconstruction. And so it's progenated so no meaningful distinctions between those that were aligned with the Republic, whether they were at the military level or the civilian level. They were both the enemy within. So yeah, I mean the system of forced labour was absolutely integral to the Frank Wurzem in 1947.
