The Effect of New Media Consumption on Political Views
Political scientist Andrew Roy conducted a survey of 1,000 people. He randomized whether they received left-leaning or right-winning channels. People who subscribe to new media outlets end up reading the articles from these new media outlets that they subscribe to When they got linked to those media outlets on their news feed. The next two findings were about how this altered media consumption changes political views and there's no effect whatsoever.
