The Black Cat and the Witch Image

I felt in a way that people like witches have a familiar. The black cat and the witch image is that that's the familiar. I wonder what the idea of having a familiar is. Is it to anchor you to the body? If you're a mystic, if you're a person that deals with layers of reality, one of the qualities of the shaman is the shaman switches levels. We have to be able to live in the world but not be of it in the words of Jesus Christ. But if you define yourself solely by that, in the end it's not going to be enough. In the end your heart will be broken...people will die that you love.
