i feel like all these animal metaphors are dangerous, but i would bring in a killer whale. Pure recognition is huge because people are reluctant to give each other positive feedback. Story telling was really as big a part of it as anything. People did unbelievably kind things, unbelievably generous things for one another every single week and nobody ever would have heard about it if we hadn't reserved ten minutes at the end of the all hands meeting for people to thank each other publicly.
