The Satanic Panic of the 80s
There was a certain degree of isolation with the satanic panic that although it did have its fingers and all the pies, it was still in a lot of ways kind of quarantined. This is another thing that draws Dungeons and Dragons in is because they had the cartoon and they had the toy line. They made G.I. Joe to sell toys and I bought a lot of them. It's probably one of the very few times I could say that management did a good job at TSR.
