Linguistics PhD student Lindsey Racks works in a language acquisition lab at UFC. She developed a language that she used for her masters thesis called Hungarian crime, which is essentially a really stripped down version of Hungarian to test specific properties. The panel on Sunday is the relationship between conlangs, the academy, and how people learn specific properties.
