The Origin of Life

I have a feeling that viruses might be the origin point of life because they're basically these little encapsulated chunks of stuff. I mean, my instinct is that you will never stop finding these molecules. Inorganic chemistry, basic elements, some clays, some simple organics, the organics react with oxygen around hydrogen and CO2 to create molecules. Those molecules then will undergo selection and become catalyst for themselves,. Then those molecules will want to persist in time.
