Taking Your Own Pulse, Feel Your Feet

The idea is to ground ourselves our direct experience, right? So there's taking your own pulse, taking a few deep breaths. Idid somebody in one of my meditation groups that i used to lead at yale, where he had trouble paying attention to his breath because it ther areas of anxiety right in his chest. He would tell himself to simply ground his awareness in his feet, and it would help him bring awareness to something able. It's just like simple thing, feel your feet.
