I Love My Neighbor, I Love Them Equally
Freud says hostility toward the other is fundamental to our nature. That, for him, is non negotiable. He argues against those who would say that we have been civilized. And so he says, you kno, christianity, western culture, holds love thy neighbor as thyself. This is instinctio in us. It's the way we're built. Man is a wolf to man.
