State farm and progressive insurance companies have stopped issuing new policies for some Kia and Hyundai vehicles in some areas because of how often the cars are stolen. The reason? It may be because they're easy to steal, Institute senior VP Matt Moore says. A TikTok challenge late last year spurred thefts of certain makes and models of Kia's and Hyundai's made within the last decade that can be hotwired with a USB cable.
