I think there's an interesting dynamic here, because boris johnson was so unpopular in scotland, almost any one will be more popular than he was. So there may be a sort of slight warming of relations between london and edinburgh. But she can't carry on insulting people like that, whom she needs to work with. If seen as the decisions in london are being made for ideological reasons rather than pragmatic reasons, that will alienate the scots even more.
