The Purpose of God in Predestining
John piper: God can predestine what will happen to any one and everyone who is in christ through faith, without necessarily predetermining who will and won't trust in him. He says that would be the purpose of god. In other words, what would be thep of god in predetermining every single dust my molecule, every single action you make, every senten? It just doesn't seem like there be any real purpose in doing that, except for his own self entertainment he adds.
