Is Your Ideology a Good Parent?
I think what I got from that part of your book was just they really important perspective of contrasting experiences. So if your ideology is like a good parent is always around and available to their kids, why does that mean a good parent? It's probably because you want to be available to your kids. You want them to know that you're there for them in a very profound, like fundamental way. And that's why the ideology that causes us to be so rigid is so much better served by pivoting towards something else.
