The History of the Negro
I was amazed in rather let's say a sad way that if you look at the modern histories of places like her son, right, Mecongar, Marie Upple again, it's pretty hard to find something. You know to much extent that's also a result of rather tragic transformation of historical science in the 1930s. And believe me I'm not happy at all that my book on the Negro is the very first English speaking synthesis of the history of this huge and incredibly fascinating city.
