Over feeding is the main cause of death for goldfish in a house. It's fun, but then they just die really quickly. I remember though, when you would go into your room, the fish would notice you come in and it would start swimming back and forwardsReally quickly. That hoping that it was going to get fed that week. But certainly stayed alive for longer than any goldfish I've ever known before. So maybe your approach of not feeding it very much works. Do you think so? I haven't got a clue.
