Is Trump Really Above the Law?
Jason: We like saying nobodyis above the law. That's not really true, ause you are president, you can pardon anybody convicted of any federal crime. It's just your totally unfetered authority that that certainly seems above the law,. If you're president, there's executive privilege that prevents you from complying with various legal processes in congress. And if youre speaking on the congressional floor, and you libel somebody, you can't be sued for that, because it's, you have congressional immunity. Diplomats have a certain kind of immunity.
