The Importance of Impact Factors in Early Career Research

I think that's one of the groups that we worried a lot about in this transition, because you know if you're going up for tenure you need that impact factor. And I'd like to raise though that in some countries, at least in Europe this hype about impact factors is very critically discussed. So there's a lot more strategy to maybe select your best publications and argue for it. That doesn't necessarily mean it has to be in high impact factor journal, but it is important for reasons to be to be to see.
