The Complex Layered Nature of New Caledonia
The game is inspired by the indigenous peoples and culture of New Caledonia. There's a complexity there in regards to who even is exploring it or how you go about doing that. We really wanted, we set out to make a game that felt like our childhood growing up there. And so we felt it was more truthful to that to portray NewCaledonia as we know it.
