Homelessness, Crime and Mental Health
Homelessness, crime and mental health are often linked but not always in the ways that people think. Just because someone commits an act of violence doesn't mean they're suffering from some mental illness. Having issues or being upset about something is not the same as being diagnosed with a mental illness. And so in terms of what works or doesn't work, I think we don't have a great sense of what works to address all three at once.
