Strevinsky wanted that feeling of instability and that, and that when the bastrom kind of crashing in, that it sort of resets everybody back. He saw in a lot of music before that like, wasn't really going there. And he's like, why don't we go there? Of course, i'm sure the first performance was kind of rough. But, like, you know, 30 years later, actually, today, there are some youth orchestras that can get in on that piece right then.
