Bond traders scrambled to change how they were pricing rate paths around the world. Two-year treasury yields plummeted as much as 54 basis points to 3.71%. German two-year yields fell 48 basis points in a day, the most on record. But Michael J. P. Morgan's CIO thinks that the Fed and the ECB now need to change their plans.
