Superman Returns: A Review
Sam Raimi is keyed into the basic story he wants to tell here. Even when it gets muddled, the humanity of these central characters does basically stay intact and remain the key attraction. I like this more than that, but it's similarly a movie I want to fight for for specific reasons of what it tries to do. There's things that work, there's things that don't work. And before we started recording, we talked a little bit about Superman Returns - which is another movie that it's not a sequel or anything,. But it's like much better than it gets credit for.
