The Framers Set a Court in a Way That We Would Not Care About That Critique

In a 2016 New England school of law then Roberts said the framers established a court in a way that we would not care about that criticism. Do you agree with his interpretation of the framers intent? I think his approach is too simplistic. The framers did not intend for justices to entrench themselves on the court for long periods and take politicized actions to reverse the results of election. Most of the justices from the original areas serve very brief terms. Chief Justice Marshall departed from that serving for a very long time.
