Lecanamab, a Drug That Could Prevent Alzheimer's Disease
There seems to have finally been a positive trial involving an Alzheimer's drug that works on amyloid. Lecanamab came out of discovery of a mutation described in a Swedish population over 20 years ago. It was developed by a small Swedish company called BioArctic. Later on, that company made a deal with Asai and the parent company BioGen.
