As rational as he seemed compared to the other candidates that are running for the office, on the Democratic side this time around, he just did everything he could to become somebody that could have been sent up from central casting at this point. He wants to put these two things on the national agenda and pay for 250,000 people to work on them. That doesn't address the bureaucratic infrastructure that's going to be built. And so something relatively small, like tweaking the regulatory code so that it becomes easier for entrepreneurs to start businesses, could produce an order of magnitude more jobs than this jobs program that he has in mind.
