Profetto Tracing

The API you might be thinking of might be related to stack sampling as opposed to Profetto tracing. There's definitely an API and there is a mad skills video about this where kind of explaining how to start and stop a recording of a particular area of interest with stack sampling. But I would also say we probably don't usually want to add trace points permanently to programmatically to every single function call in your entire app because that will start to add up. The overhead is really, really small. We're talking like nanoseconds. So it's not something that we are usually concerned about.
