Augustine's Encounter With Ambrose
Augustine was ripe picking for the mannequies. He's young, bright, eager for truth, desperate for truth. And they constantly hold out that they have some kind of secret teaching. So when he's a student in Carthage, very precocious young man, he's really on his way and gets stuck with them. But God's liberating effects are his really his encounter with Ambrose.
