The Origins of Conlang

Most of the scripts that are still in use are traced back to ancient Egyptian and then you have Chinese which has remained in use. Qdeiform is gone like entirely uh the Mesoamerican lifts they probably are still used for ceremonial purposes somewhere. We don't even know if Kipu was in time was writing before Spanish contact or not yeah so it is interesting that you could get away with just one or two origins of writing and fill out your entire world that way. A lot of conlingers I don't know feel a need to just like have everybody do their own completely independent isolate writing system but there's also real world reasons why that actually happened.
