The Doppler Shifting of the Signal Matches
The most recent example of this is SCIFTY, which launched back in October. It was the fourth mission deployed by a Russian launch and it is supposed to be the prototype for an upcoming constellation of communication satellites. We saw with the Iridium satellites, they were transmitting back in the early 90s at a frequency very different from what was expected. They were actually impacting radio astronomy. But it's up to your own nation to do something. And I don't think Russia is interested in doing anything to SCIFTY.
