Usability Design - Getting Real Users to Think Aloud
Nelson was the guiding light on what you should do in terms of using eye tracking and heat sporting. He really pushed something which i think is still incredibly useful to day. Get real users to use your content and get them to voice as they use it, and always to understand what's going on in their heads. Don't make them feel insecure by doing something that's a bit odd - that takes them away from the learning experience.
